Taking advantage of the national “One Belt and Road” strategy and the signing of the China-Korea Free Trade Agreement, in order to expand the traditional business market of HPMM Group and learn from the design and construction experience of South Korea’s most advanced offshore manufacturing plant, on October 14th-16th, HPMM Group Chairman (Executive Chairman of China-Korea Enterprise Friendship Association) Wang Zhengquan, HPMM Group Chairman Assistant Zhang Hao, Group Subsidiary Liaoning Offshore Drilling Equipment Co., Ltd. General Manager Xiao Deshi, and Deputy General Manager Liu Jie accompanied by Kwon Soon Ki, Chairman of the Development Association, and Jang Woo Hae, Vice Chairman of the Development Association, visited the former South Korean Prime Minister Lee Shou Sung and the Chairman of the Korea-China Private Economic Cooperation Forum Ji Yongmo in South Korea, and inspected Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Co., Ltd. that received a warm reception from all parties.

Both parties agreed to take this communication and exchange as a starting point, and both parties will work together to complement each other's strengths and further study specific cooperation plans, especially in the field of offshore core equipment R&D and manufacturing, equipment procurement and operation.

After the meeting, Chairman Wang Zhengquan and his entourage inspected the advanced offshore construction process and advanced production equipment and facilities of the DSME plant. At the end of the inspection, the two parties exchanged souvenirs and took a group photo.

During the visit and inspection in South Korea, Chairman Wang Zhengquan and his entourage also visited local enterprises such as South Korea Hanzhong Ship Machinery Co., Ltd.
